I have a singlr hard drive partitioned into 2. Each partition runs a copy of winXP.

The first installation allows me to hide the second installation, but I cannot do that in the second as it needs the boot files on the first partition.

what I was thinking of doing therefor is a creating a small third partition to hold just the boot files, I could then hide both of the OSes from each other.

Can anybody give me some steps to achieve this?

I am running Disk Director Suite/OS Selector 9.

You shouldn't need to worry about this, as OSS should put a bootwiz folder on each partition and OSS does the rest.
