I used CS for several years, and liked it. Earlier versions were heavy, but did not slow my system. I think it is a top AS, and V2 and later are about average as far as load as far as I can tell. I used it during the early beta periods.

I like it, although I am not using it now. Not sure why, I just changed. The price is excellent, and I would feel as secure with it as any.

    Regards,
    Jerry

A huge improvement over the earlier builds. The major glitches and bugs seem to have been ironed out. I particularly like the execution protection feature which prevents unknown progs from running until you OK them; that should give real protection for those not running SSM, PG etc.

I can't say its running smooth as silk, as I still experience some minor hangs and freezes if I bring up the GUI immediately after bootup - but these don't seem to be too bad.

It's early days yet and I still have to test things out a bit more, but at the moment it's thumbs up. :thumb: :)

Just bought it myself after a very satisfactory trial period.

Not bad if you go with the £4.98 competitor upgrade offer.

Woking nicely with Boclean, Prevx2, Zonealarm and NOD32 and a few on demand scanners.

I find that after windows updates are downloaded and installed I sometimes have to reinstall CounterSpy because my scheduled scan is knocked out and cannot be reset and updated definitions cannot be merged. I'll have to look into it further in about a week as I'll be leaving in about an hour for a weeks fishing in northern Quebec.
