During the past week, I've been frequently running Recurva on my computer's HDD (trying to recover some accidentally deleted files). About 4 days ago, I noticed my computer's Internet connection has been frequently disconnecting for no apparent reason. Even worse my computer was always disconnected from the Internet whenever I reactivated it from sleep mode.

Strangely these connection issue only started to occur after I started using Recurva. Could Recurva's recovery abilities be some how interfering with my computer's internet connection? Could some of the recovered files be interfering with my computer's internet connection? If that's the case, then how could this be possible?

If running Recurva is somehow interfering with my Internet connection, then how would I resolve these issues? If this is all just a coincidence, then Recurva is not responsible for my Internet connection issues. But I doubt that since I've only been having Internet connection issues of this nature since I've started using Recurva. Also I suspect Recurva's recovery functions may be interfering with my computer's Internet connection.

Bottom line: how do I resolve these Internet connection issues?

It is highly unlikely Recuva is the cause. Check the event viewer logs for errors, also what security software are you using?

What kind of errors should I be checking for?

    I use Karpaskey's security software.
