I've been tinkering with TI9 for a couple of weeks with various setups (2289)

Using my test rig WinXP pro and 2x 200gb maxtor HDD's I am able to create initial post install and XP patched images which are not corrupt. Yet when the Image file size increases to say >10GB by various software installs (Games) the images are always corrupt (they wont check nor install)

Largest file i've managed to produce error free is around ~3GB.

Last thing I tried was 0% compression - you would assume that with a 0% compression on the data then the file would less likely to be corrupt yet it's still corrupt?. Is it seeing a specific file type as being corrupt - e.g. a zip file or something silly?

Anyone else find this to be the case?

Both drives check out fine with DFT.

    Hello RocketMagnet,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please download the latest build (2302) of Acronis True Image 9.0. and see whether the problem persists. In order to get access to updates you should register account on our site (or just log in if you have already created it) and then register your copy of the product.

Could you please verify the image and let us know the result? Have you tried to explore the images that are reported as corrupted? Sometimes it is possible to explore corrupted image and recover the main part of the data. Where did you save the backup images?

    Thank you.
