Ok, if you want to listen to our advice

    Remove Comodo Products
    Remove Advance System Care Pro
    Remove Iobit 360
    Remove KCleaner
    Remove A-Squared Free
    Pick Between CCleaner and Glary
    Remove KeyScrambler.

Look into something like Defensewall, Sandboxie, AppGuard, or GeSwall.

Also another option would to be to wait till March 2nd and get VIPRE for free and use that with Superantispyware PRO.

If he is happy running that mess...so be it...it is his computer. Would I run that mess...I think not.

That setup Dja2k posted looks like a good one.

... and I still think it's way too much and not the best choices of software. For one you're relying on software from IObit.

For one, i dont understand the need for so many system cleaners!

MSE, MBAM, , Windows Firewall, KeyScrambler and CCleaner would be all you need. You can add something like Hitman Pro also.

If everyone would stop feeding the troll this thread would sink into the abyss (where it belongs). :cautious:

Definitely not one of Wilders' finest threads. :p

ooooooo - what you're trying to say is that you love 10 of the same type of program, because it makes you sleep soundly at night. o_O

More of a "lighter" thread I would say. Worse of it all is that there are people who actually run setups like his thinking that they have to run that much to stay safe. And even worse is that some of them are fellow Wilderites.

You don't say? Ever thought about removing a number of software and see how that works for ya? :p Best thing to do is keep real-time apps at max 2 and only use optimization which is not a placebo effect but actually proven to be working. In my case for example, I can see exactly what TuneUp Utilities is doing to optimize the performance of my PC. Since the OS is so optimized already, it doesn't make a huge difference, but I know that it works better and more secure - not just seems to do.

To many cleaning programs, and no programs to prevent infection from happening in the first place.

This thread is almost worthy of an "ignore" feature now.

The author should just state up front that he is not going to heed any advice, so then those actually giving advice could ignore it.

OP, just put on Sandboxie, force all your internet apps to start in it, learn how to properly configure it and run with it.

Pick a good 3rd party security tool or two, and call it good. If you are not a troll and actually will learn more about security, you will eventually come to a conclusion of that sort anyway.

Thats all from me, good luck.

    Sul.
