connection fails

    I just installed nod32 and then tried to update it. It started to do that and then gave me the message the the update server connection failed. Suggestions?

    Was this problem repeatable? On a subsequent attempt did the problem repeat itself? Did you attempt a manual update or automatic update? The first update after a free install of NOD32 right now (using the trial) is about 5MB using multiple servers, so it could be one of the servers is also having an issue atm.

    Could also be the Winsock (which IMON seems incredibly sensitive too):

    Hi betsy, welcome to Wilders.

    Could you please check your setting against those found HERE part of this Tutorial includes checking your internet connection settings: NOD32 Control Centre> Update> update> Setup> Advanced.
