   Is my 1600 MHz. DDR3 RAM a PC3 12800 ?? tha'ts what Im reading on newegg and other sites. but how do they calculate this PC rating and what is my RAM's PC? what is PC 3?

   The PC rating is the throughput of the RAM in MB per second. It makes it easier to compare different types of RAM, like DDR2 vs. DDR3.
