I have a situation where I have a RAID 5 volume running on an Adaptec controller with 3 - 18GB drives. There are 2 partitions on the volume, 1 for OS and 1 for data. At this time we want to add 2 more 18GB drives in a RAID 1 volume and if possible image the OS partition to the RAID 1 volume. This should still boot since the Hardware Layer has not changed.

Is this possible with any version of acronis?

    Thanks

    Hi Rozar,

this sould be possible with ACRONIS True Image Server.
    TI Server supports Hardware RAIDs.
Depending on your OS you will have to change your boot files beacuse adding a new array to your Raid is like addings a new Harddrive to "normal" system.
If you want to be able to boot from the other array you have to edit your boot.ini file (if you use Windows).
