It is indeed, especially in paranoid mode, but the damn "disappearing rules" bug ruin it all.

Naturally. I forget to specify that I always used the HIPS - System Safety Monitor, Online Armour...now Defense+ - in the highest setting, Paranoid just in CIS.

Okay, After some fiddling with the new build, it's okay, no bluescreens yet, even with my OCD fiddling with the settings. I even tried changing the components and I didn't get any errors, now I just need to see if it still interferes with windows updates on win10.

To anyone with the resources to do so. Please test CFW and/or CIS against a malicious DLL injection and post the results here in this thread. I want to see if they fixed that 9 year old issue that's been in their forums for that long now.

I've been hearing that claim for about 10+ years now. Why do people keep saying that comodo's sandbox can be bypassed when there's no evidence of that? Every honest test I've ever seen of comodo FW, I.S. AV and CCAV they never fail.

There was ONE test I saw where some malware was able to start over and over, but it kept getting immediately killed by CIS. So even the one time I saw comodo kind of miss something it still didn't allow the malware to do anything.

I fiddled around and I found out that instance was caused by comodo's defaults for the "do not virtualize access to: These folders" rules. The rules the way they were configured in that build version are now a thing of the past.

Comodo is in life support and someone has to either unplug it or boost it with something supernatural. Nothing new since so long ago

Been wondering about Comodo. Anything new recently, or mostly just small, under the hood changes? Seems like it has been years since any major updates/changes.

In the previous stable build they made it so that unsigned DLL's can't be injected into comodo processes, instead of just all DLLs being injected
