Hi danny9, I did post (twice, on last page) that I had problems and you responded right below them saying you used XP.
I have posted about the problems, here and on the Comodo forum. I have yet to get a positive response either place. I actually wanted to keep Comodo but after getting no help I had to do something.

41LF3, I do know what the topic is, that's why I posted here. The new release crashed my computer, as I stated earlier. Thanks for your help
    Tom.

I first did a update to Comodo's latist via the built it updater, then I got a little paranoid when a icon wouldn't load. I decided to do a clean install, no problems so far.

Was just on their forum and looks like there are many having the same issue as me running this latest version on Vista 64.

    It's just not Vista 64.
I have Vista Basic, on my laptop, with version .439 running on it. The full CIS version.
Today I tried to install the .471 version.
When it rebooted, it stopped on the welcome page and their it stayed.
Tried again and the same thing.
This happened once with the beta version also.
Posted in their forums but never got an answer.
Restored to ver. .439 and working great.
I'm at a loss as to the cause but will try posting in the forums again.

Good luck guys with your 64 bits. :)

You running Ad-Aware Free Anniversary Edition? Looks like many peeps running it with Vista 64 are having problems wonder if its also causing problems with Vista32. Ad-Aware AE and Coodo might not be playing nice together.

Would like to say I uninstalled Ad-Aware AE and re-installed CIS 3.8... and programs now will run on my Vista64.

Also notice issues others were having on Vista32 bit and that was also being caused by Ad-Aware. So if your having issues with this newest version and running Ad-Aware you might have to uninstall it.

    Hi Everyone,

Just FYI. These incompatible issues between CIS and other security software and being investigated and fixed, The following are so far known and will be fixed:
    Ad-aware
    SpySweeper

Comodo have also suspended updates (program updates) Until next week for build 439 so Comodo can solve these critical issues

    Thx guys.

    Cheers,
    Josh
