A more accurate assessment could likely be made by looking at the number and type of support tickets created on their forums; comparing Comodo's forum to Avira's forum, for example. ;)

The thing that hurts Comodo's AV is really the FP's. I have never seen a AV give so many. I'm sure they will fix them eventually.

Yeah I have to agree with with that. Comodo AV would be useless for me right now in it's present state. Avira with Rising PC Doctor that has some stuff Avira doesn't have so extra and PC Tools Firewall Plus 5 with RegProt. That's it! No need to run a bunch of stuff else.

I'm not "sure" but I hope they fix it.
Unfortunately, Comodo's got "form" in this area.

Considering the vastly greater number of Avira users, compared to Conmodo users,The NUMBER of support tickets will not prove anything.
It may be possible to discern a trend in the nature of respective problems.
Does it not stand to reason, Avira, with a much larger user base, will generate
    more problem reports?

Agreed; I find the confidence some have in Comodo's ability to produce a competent AV irrational.
Symantec acquired Sygate, Sunbelt acquired Kerio, and Avira, Kaspersky, Eset developed firewalls to add to their AVs to create suites...
These are all examples of AV companies that added firewall capabilities to their lineups to create new products.

A firewall company has never developed an AV before to add to its base product to make a suite!

Why such faith in a project which has no precedent??

In all honesty Comodo makes me wonder the same thing from time to time. At least they like to air there dirty laundry out in public. ;)

The only way your going to have a Zero popup version of Comodo is if the computer is OFF.
