no it actually works on xp. I am using it now from cyberscrub who have it as a package for 5 yrs. however it would have been better ,I believe, if KL had of continued it so as to offer a alternative product that is a lower price than their current products. It use to be $18 - $20 from KL . Cyberscrub do offer it at a much better deal but its perhaps not so well know now . Its certainly a great product and perhaps the best alternative to place on a pc for those who want a set and forget av that covers virus/ trojan / worms etc. An excellent choice also for a family pc and for those who just dont want to load their systems up with too much security software nor spend half their online time worrying about their security.

 

But the problem is that the KAV 4.x will become outdated soon.....

Yes, I want KAV Lite back!
