Less convenient but faster response. Though that being said, I just got a response from the email telling me it's been updated, I think the few hours response forum post is better than the few days response email. ^^

Google are chuffed up about their browser and how they're setting new security standards why don't they put some of that positive spirit into their dns servers as well providing malware protection.

Looks like a one month temporary reprieve: "Effective October 1, 2011, GFI's ClearCloud DNS service will be discontinued and no longer available for consumer use." (from their website). Checking the status page Boston and Sydney are gone.

Are you still using it? I've been tempted to switch back to CC for the rest of the month, but I'm unsure about it's efficiency now that they killed it.

No I switched over to Norton DNS. Can't say if there is a speed difference. They seem to be about the same. If ClearCloud for some reason is still around after September I may switch back to CC.

Norton is faster for me. Even with good alternatives, ClearCloud will be missed.

Just checked and website still up. Only two of their servers are down (Boston & Sydney). I thought they were turning them all off Oct. 1.

It's resolving really slow - like 1.5-2.5 seconds (tested via dig running on boxes in Albuquerque, NM and Denver, CO) - might as well just switch to something else now.

Interesting, I thought it would be gone already.

Which I'm already using. I'm only interested in knowing whether it's working or not.
