When monitoring my VPN connection with PE, I noticed that there's a large number of packets showing "RECEIVE" as the action and "FAILED" as the status. In fact, most of the incoming packets are listed as failed, but almost all of the send packets are successful. I'm using OpenVPN software to establish the VPN connection.

What would be some causes for an incoming packet to be marked as "FAILED" in PE? The packets are making it through my router and through the Windows Firewall. Are they getting rejected by the VPN software for some reason?

Packets going to other programs are being received successfully.

Hi there Davidm, welcome to the forum!
Not using OpenVPN i can't reproduce your "Failed" status myself, so i hope some of the experts have a useful explanation. Could it be each sent packet gets a confirmation/check which isn't received properly? Do you see anything in your logs or firewall logs about such blocks?
