It seems upgrading to the latest beta did it for me, I am unable to test the second sample though until I can get my testing PC back to a fresh start.

Indeed! I'm liking the light blue, like BitDefender's new UI, it isn't as extreme looking as most antivirus UI's can be.

How heavy is CIS on system resources? I am looking for something that is superlightweight...

Very light on my PC, almost no boot-time added, 6MB memory during idle, I would give you the CPU time and I/O reads but I have been scanning all day.

Very low on ram (5-20 meg), but heavy on CPU and disk io. I am working on finding a way to run it with less overhead.

I think it is a bug in the RC. There are posts about it on the Comodo forums.

There is, and that helps, but D+ can be problematic (in that regard) also.

I use Process Explorer, and for me cmdagent.exe always has the second highest CPU time behind system idle process. When I use other AVs, there are always farther down the list.

Take a lot at the drop down list on this page as the various tests. They kind of show similar results to what I have experienced.

That is problematic...btw, what does that chart represent? Are the times for a single file? Time increased to transfer it from ~20s to 2000s+ with CIS?

    Thats too much ....:(

Take from it what you will. In Maximum PCs tests CIS effected performance more than any of AVs they tested. CIS is a fantastic program, but I wouldn't call it light. (actually I take that back. Trend Micro had the lowest PCMark score by a sliver over CIS).
