I'm having a problem updating Chrome v81 - its' stuck in a relaunch loop. Would downloading and running an installer instead of trying to update inside the browser possibly work? Edit: I downloaded and ran the x64 installer and it didn't make a difference; the browser loads the same "relaunch to finish updating" page which doesn't work.
I am not so sure that I wish to avail myself of this "improvement". My immediate reaction is, too many protection cooks spoil he stew, followed closely by this just sounds like an attempt to garner more information from Chrome users. I am not planning on enabling this feature.
