The mitigation in which Chrome will only load modules which are Microsoft signed only is active now for GPU process, renderer process and possibly ppapi process but I did not confirm ppapi process yet. EDIT; PPAPI process confirmed now also with Microsoft signed only mitigation.
So apparently the world is going to explode tomorrow when those regular users who still use Flash Player have their Chrome updated to 62 where the Ask to activate Flash appears to NOT work. Google will get some serious heat on this since there is no way to force allow Flash and since Ask to activate is thoroughly broken. Oh my...
Saw this page giving info on this change (although this page is about managed Chrome versions) https://support.google.com/chrome/a/answer/7084871?hl=en
So far, the best (and only) way that I have found to somewhat conveniently add exceptions for allowing Flash is by clicking on the "View site information" icon which is right before the URL bar begins. On the drop-down that appears, under Flash it shows Ask (default). Change that to Allow for sites that you specifically trust. This automatically adds an Allow exception to the Flash settings at chrome://settings/content/flash
hi thanks , they have removed the possibility to export password ,right? @Mister X hi thanks for the links ,is there a chrome clean up tool for mac?
Small overview of new flags: https://www.ghacks.net/2017/10/18/google-chrome-62-stable-is-out/ One interesting flag i have found is this: After enabling of this flag, favicons for URL suggestions can be seen:
Hi https://www.ghacks.net/2017/10/18/google-chrome-62-stable-is-out/ In the link, quote What flag to set to 'Strengthen the Popunder Preventer'? Thanks
It doesn't need to be enabled with a flag (there is no flag for this feature and it is already active)
