Chrome 100.0.4896.60 contains 28 security fixes (9 rated High and 10 rated Medium) that were "contributed by external researchers". In addition, per the release statement, "internal security work was responsible for a wide range of fixes".
Yes! And I'm always torn between happiness that so many fixes were implemented, and concern that there was so much wrong with the previous version.
Chrome's current market share is like 63% world-wide. So, better keep it clean and tidy or starting losing it, right?

From what I understand, Chrome holds the upper hand security-wise, while Firefox holds the upper hand privacy-wise. Sounds about right.
