I do think it's an interesting idea, because we need a solution for the ad-blocking problem. Still, ads are not supposed to track you and are not meant to be annoying. I don't know what's so hard for Google to understand about this. The "acceptable ads" thingy that they came up with is a joke. That's why I keep saying that Chrome can't be trusted.

First off, who do they think they're trying to fool? Its the very fact of continuous ADS smack dab in your face via interruption of reading content that I for one WON'T PATRONIZE OR EVER BUY from those merchants. I say they need their own websites, not junkyarding the whole internet like a demolition derby. On the other hand that does seem to maybe be an acceptable medium and the sooner the better.
