Yes, I know the error will point to the graphics card, but that can be deceiving. I have been deceived by graphics errors even though it wasn't the root cause.
The root cause was another driver that was leading to the graphics failure.

Do you know how to see for sure what SATA controller your SSD is connected to and show the Device ID?

    Device Manager > Disk Drives.
Click on your SSD and click the "View" menu > Devices by connection.
That will display the SATA controller that your SSD is connected to.

Right click on the SATA controller and select Properties > Details > Hardware IDs.
    Copy and paste them.

Along to very top of Device Manager you should see "View".

Change it to "Standard SATA AHCI Controller". You should be right then. Old unsupported Intel controllers and their old drivers can be troublesome.
Standard Microsoft drivers are usually the solution to extending the life of your computer.
If you're concerned, make a System Restore, but you don't need to. You can always roll back the driver.

When i see .... Select device driver you want to install... It shows me 2 to choose from from intel. Intel(R) 7 Series/C216 Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller, and the same one with .. 1E02 at the end .... like this ... Intel(R) 7 Series/C216 Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller - 1E02. If i have to rollback the standard driver, i want to know which one to pick from, which would be the driver i have now....Probably the one without 1E02 at the end.

What if you untick, "Show compatible hardware".
Then browse for Microsoft on the left column, or it might show Standard at the top.
Then have a look in the right column.

If i have to rollback the standard driver, i just click and will uninstall the new standard driver and install the driver that i had before, which came with the new computer.

The ATI crashes keep happening until i installed a new AMD Catalyst Software Suite. Have not had a graphic card crash since. I think it was the same version suite i had before.
