Their usual extensive series of apps and tests.
An interesting read regardless of your own perspectives.

The testing results are based on the same test as PCWorld I think.

A huge difference in the ranking for use the same test, I wonder if the protection offered by the AV's does not affect to the ranking what it does? the colour of the interface? :D

I think it really is, it did the same kind of tests: WildList, on-demand samples, and 25 real world samples; also the results look the same.
And mind there has been a lot of criticism about the PCWorld test. Where PCWorld clearly is inconsequent in rating (calling the same level of detection top-notch in one product, and poor in another). I actually think this CHIP.de test setup is more trustworthy, the interface seems less important here. A shame they didn't review ESET, although they did write the test results down somewhere. Instead of ESET they reviewed AVG.

Here's a screen copy of the only data that has any relevance in a test of security suites.

Hey do not complain, they did not include Avast Internet Security in the test...the chickens. :D

I wouldn't give any credit to a guys that thinks that the most important feature of an AV is the colour of the interface.

Comodo was the only AV able to protect against the 100% of the threats in the dynamic test, and still is at the end of the ranking... I though that the mission of any AV was protect the user... o_O

And the review in PCWorld? If you read it seems that they didn't understand how to use it, or what is a sandbox or HIPS, a very superfluous review centered in how hard was the registration process of Comodo Complete (paid) because the need to give an email

This review didn't rate Comodo at the end because of interface. CHIP.de describes the interface as: "the interface is ready for the competition." So that is quite positive.

The weak points according to CHIP.de are:
    - Weak detection rates
    - Many false positives
    - No additional features (i.e. Parental Control etc.)

    Detection details:
    Wildlist (9.844 Virus samples): 98,60 %
    Trojan (180.027 samples) 91,10 %
    Backdoors/Bots/Virus/Worms (66.530 samples): 96,59 %
    Zero Day drive-by attacks (20 in total, blocked/partially blocked/not blocked): 95 % / 5 % / 0 %
False positives (147.316 clean samples): 13
False positives during usage /on installation: both 1

I though they were using the same source of test than PCworld.
I see now that they didn't made any real time test.

    Sorry for the mistake.
