    Hi,

How can i check that all traces of Process Guard are gone?
I managed to uninstall via config>> software and realized later that I should have done this in safe mode.

    Anyone?

Hi Fraha, Dlete the ProcesGuard folder if it exists.
Using a reg egitor do a Find on the following keys and delete them if they exist:
    Process Guard
    procguard
    PGaccount

In the windows\system32 folder delete pguard.dat and pghash.dat if they exist.
In the windows\system32\drivers folder delete procguard.sys if it exists.

BTW what version is it and did it give your problems?

since the latest version I cannot come into Safe mode anymore!
so now i need to uninstall via software and then remove all traces of PG, right?

There is a slight possebility that this one prg has nothing to do with the problem. I wanted to remove PG because I cannot install any services anymore.
I need to install United Device's Agent UD.exe as a service and all I get is an error.
So I'm trying without all these security software if the problem lies with them.
Trial and error is you will, lots of errors, lots of tries

    Regards,

    Frans
