The last week or so, on brief scan setting which usually takes only about two minutes, the checking scan at the end of the scan is taking five or more minutes. In the past it was only a few seconds.

Also, the last time the computer rebooted. I was not sitting there watching, but maybe the blue screen of death came up or something. I don't know.

My OS is Windows 7, 32-bit. I am running Prevx 3.0 with only Windows Defender as additional security. The recent scan results have been clean. In fact, no detected items on this computer since May 2010.

    Hi jjc225,

And welcome to the Official Prevx Support forums! In most cases we would ask you to do a clean Reinstall! Uninstall Prevx reboot and download a fresh copy from http://info.prevx.com/downloadcsi.asp and install and after the leaning scan install your license key and please report back!

    HTH,

    TH ;)

Okay, I was thinking I should uninstall and reinstall. I'll do this and report back.

Also do a scan after the learning scan and that will determine scan time!

I performed the learning scan and was able to reenter my license information. But an error box came up during the check scan results. It took longer again, like an extra six minutes during the check scan results. I've enclosed a screen shot of the error message.

This message would look like it wouldn't have come from Prevx but from the OS. Could you see if you can still use Tools - Save Scan Results to send us a scan log to report@prevxresearch.com?

    Thank you!
