Is there a way to update the Remote Administration server information on a client that isn't currently being managed by ERA or has the incorrect server information entered?

I have had a couple different situation now where someone updated the default policy with a typo for the remote server information. This has resulted in having to touch each workstation and update them manually by pressing F5 and entering in the correct server name.

Another situation is when the client was installed without an ERA server in place and now they want to use one.

I know if there is a newer version of ESET NOD32 available you can do a push install from the server with the updated information in the config, but is there a way to update it remotely if the workstations are already at the current version?

If the client version isn't the latest version you can push a install/upgrade over the old installation with a new correct configuration attached.

If it has the latest version and it has the wrong ERA server configured your easiest solution is to make a DNS alias so it redirects to the correct server (If its not configured with a IP address that is..)

If it has the latest version and no (wrong) ERA server configured I'm afraid you have to manually configure the clients to point to the ERA server.. Maybe you can push a uninstallation from ERA and then a install again but I don't have any experience with that. I myself use a another system for install/upgrades/uninstalls.
