    Hi Anton,

Just a little question (maybe a strange one  ).

It is about this file (on my W 98 SE system):
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\CDRecord\cdrecord.exe

Is this file used both by DiskDirector and TI-7 ?

There were recently upgrades for both DiskDirector and TI-7.
Because the release date for DD was slightly earlier than the one for TI-7, I decided first to upgrade my DD and then TI-7.

I noticed that the version for cdrecord.exe (after upgrading TI-7) is 2.00.3-1.8a

If DD installs/uses that file too, could there be a problem in case people are upgrading first TI-7 and then DD, because in that case the version number might be 2.00.3-1.8

I fully admit that this all is a wild guess by me, and I could well be completely wrong...

    BTW:
    The version of C:\Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\CDRecord\readcd.exe
    is 2.00.3-1.8

Please accept my apologies if I might confusing things.

    Regards, Jan.

    Hello Jan --

Yes, the file is used by all Acronis applications and it stands for direct CD-R/CD-RW writing. I doubt that the difference in versions would cause any problem, though I'll pass it to our developers.

    Thank you.
