Maybe you block 'shepherd.ff.avast.com`? I block all outgoing connections for CCleaner64.exe and have not yet seen a paywall. I'm not sure if this is a permanent change, but several users who have updated their “standard” installation of CCleaner Free to v6.25.11131 (rel. 01-Jul-2024) are now reporting that Custom Clean is working again - see recent posts in steambc’s topic Custom Clean now only works with Pro License? in the CCleaner forum. Moderator nukcade also posted <here> today in that same topic that they made no changes on their end to the previous CCleaner Free v6.25.11093 (rel. 19-Jun-2024) and that Custom Clean is once again working in v6.25.11093. I can’t test myself because Custom Clean has always run correctly for me in the previous CCleaner Free Portable v6.25.11093. CCleaner .1169 pro occasionally pops up a notification asking if you want to try cleaning google cloud drive files. I have not found a way to turn that off and stop it happening. I have logged a support case with CC, so far no reply.
