capsa Alarm configuration

    Hi

    i have capsa 7 with 90 plus user,s i wnat to monitor Broadcast traffic Via Alarm pop up
    whenever any Broadcast is created it will alarm me
    how i can do this task!!!

    Hi Kkashan,

    Indeed you can create alarms to monitor broadcast traffic, here is an example:

    1. right-click on FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF node under Physical Explorer/Broadcast Addresses on Node Explorer, select Make Alarm...

    2. Finish the settings per your requirements, such as: send an alarm when packets count reaches 10, every 5 seconds. If you enabled email notification, you can even get an email notification when the alarm is triggered.

    3. You can then go to Node Explorer again, and repeat on the IP Explorer/Broadcast Addresses/255.255.255.255 to create an alarm to watch broadcast packets on IP layer. Hope this helps.
