Hi, did a lot of reasearch and all roads point to Wilders for getting proper help with this problem. Ran Ad-Aware which has always worked for me in the past(then rebooted) but still can't clean up this one. Hijackthis log file is below. Much appreciation for any help on this!!! Thanks!

    Hi Pieter,

Thank you so much! I followed your instructions and it worked beautifully.

I have no idea what what the entry:
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7085075E-E665-41F6-B577-8489B5BA7196} - C:\WINDOWS\DOWNLO~1\QLHELPER.DLL
is but I have noticed "QLHELPER" running in the processes once in a while when I do a CTRL/ALT/DEL. It's not running now and I can't seem to get it to run at this time either. I went to the "Downloaded Program Files" folder in my C:\Windows directory but found no qlhelper.dll file there. The only "Q named" programs that I can think of which I have on my computer are Quicken and Quicktimeo_O This is just a guess but perhaps "QL" stands for Quick Links? I don't know why but that sounds familiar to me for some reason although it's not something I can find on my hard drive either.

If I may impose on you just a bit more, there is a process running on my system called "Tfswctrl" that I don't recognize. Do you happen to know what that might be?

I've listed my current Hijackthis log file below in case you see any other problems. I can't emphasize how thankful I am for your help!

    Regards,

    Steve

    Hi cqsteve,

If it's not there it has no use in the log.

Check the items listed below in HijackThis, close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7085075E-E665-41F6-B577-8489B5BA7196} - C:\WINDOWS\DOWNLO~1\QLHELPER.DLL

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [neuufj] C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\NFIYPWWO.EXE

    O16 - DPF: {75D1F3B2-2A21-11D7-97B9-0010DC2A6243} (SecureLogin.SecureControl) - http://secure2.comned.com/signuptemplates/ActiveSecurity.cab

Then reboot into safe mode and delete:
    C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\NFIYPWWO.EXE

    Regards,

    Hi again Pieter,

I fixed the three entries as you instructed but when I rebooted to safe mode the NFIYPWWO.EXE file did not exist in the C:\Windows\System directory.

Here is the current log file:

    Then have HijackThis Fix:
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {0000607D-D204-42C7-8E46-216055BF9918} - C:\WINDOWS\MXTARGET.DLL

    That should wrap it up.

Please read: Why did I get infected in the first place

    Regards,

    Pieter
