I have a dual boot system = Windows 7 and Linux Mint 17. I have two partitions on the Linux side which are mounted via ExtFs. I can read and write both partitions from Windows with no problem, but when I try to RUN exe files from Windows I get the message "The parameter is incorrect". On the Linux side, I can run the same exe files using Wine. If I copy the exe files from Linux to Windows, I can run them on Windows.

I have examined the ExtFs logs, but there are so many entries that I can't separate the wheat from the chaff. In other words, I don't know what to look for that would isolate the problem.
