    Hello,

I can't resize the only NTFS partition (active+system) on my Windows 2000 Server. When I bring up resize dialog, "Partition Size" input box is disabled and "value up/down" arrows in it greyed out. Partition size slider is also does not work. I also notice a small cross in a small red circle right inside the yellow bar (one that states the partition is primary).

When I cancel the dialog, the same cross appears inside a the yellow bar on a main screen in manual mode (it wasn't there before I brought up resize dialog)

    Can you help me?

    The config is:
    - OS Windows 2000 Serber
    - Primary partition type - NTFS, active, system, boot, no other partitions.
    - HDD: SCSI Raid 0 controller.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello maxims,

Thank you for using Acronis software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/).

First of all, please make sure you use the latest build, which is available on our web site at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/support/updates/. To get access to updates you should register your software first at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/registration/. Please disable any download managers, internet download/connection boosters, etc. before the download.

Please also let us know the full name of the product you use.

The small white cross inside the red circle shows that there are errors on your partition. Please check the partition you want to resize on errors and try to resize it again.

In order to check the partition please go to Start -> Run and issue the following command:

    chkdsk c: /r

If the problem persists please download Acronis Report utility available at http://www.acronis.com/files/support/AcronisReport.exe and run it, create a report and send it to support@acronis.com. This would provide us with detailed information on the hard disk partition structure.

    Thank you.
