Can't install trials for pity's sake

    I can't evaluate Disk Director 10 or True Image 9 because I can't install them.

    They both stop at the same cursed error message that has (evidently) frustrated so many others: "Failed to register the product. Please try again later."

    1. Please reassure me that nothing like this "registration" is going to be required in the full products, if I purchase them. If it is, I won't.

    2. Please tell me how I can get around the problem.

    3. Please let me know what the purpose of this intervention is, and the email address of the person responsible for imposing it, so that I can write a nice letter explaining some basic issues of marketing, customer relations, internet security, and how intelligent people prefer to use their time.
