Cant delete ver 3.2 to update to 3.5

Hi All.
Sorry to have to make my first posting a request for help.

Had a bad system crash last summer, got a mate to get me up and running again ( xp) I have version 3.2 but it has not been updated for some time as when I try I get the following error mes;

Runtime error 339.. Conponent msinet.ocx not correctly registered/a file is missing or invalid.

So I thought right I will Remove 3.2 and then install 3.5, great idea but when I open add/rem progs there is no sign of it.

So with out rabbiting on have I given enough info for help?

Ronjor, many thanks, had a delve into running programmes and found the files and deleted same, successfully installed 3.5 so all is happy at this end,

Im a bit useless with pc's but if you need to know anything about building (houses etc) ask away
