This happens in FF, Vivaldi, and Opera... except when I turn on Opera "VPN" I can connect. Ive tried reverting to default dns locally and in browser settings, and default hosts which I had replaced. Also, Im using Ublock Origin and Https Everywhere in all browsers. Does anyone have a clue as to what the issue might be? edit: Also am using Simplewall with blocklist enabled edit: otherwise I can browse normally in all browsers
Well thats really strange... turned on pc and now I can connect this morning. I still suspect hosts file issue... maybe I didnt flush dns and release renew ip after reverting host file and dns, just guessing as Im not too savvy on network issues. I will include the exact error if it happens again though im sure it was the standard time out, cant connect message. Thanks very much for responding Minimalist.
