Cannot uninstall Smart Security

I downloaded the trial version of Smart Security a while ago and have about 3 days left. Today I decided to purchase the 2 year NOD32 Antivirus instead of Smart Security so I paid and downloaded Antivirus and then I tried to uninstall Smart Security and it wouldn't let me remove it.

I thought that perhaps installing NOD32 Antivirus would also remove Smart Security but it said it already has the current version (makes sense).

How in the world do I remove Smart Security in order to being using the NOD32 Antivirus download I purchased? I'm a bit anxious as the trial will end and then I won't have any protection on the PC.

Hi Cudni -

The first time I booted into Safe Mode, the uninstaller didn't work so I tried botting into Safe Mode with Networking and that did the trick. I uninstalled Smart Security and was then able to install Antivirus. YAY!
