Cannot uninstall privacy expert 8 so that I can iunstall privacy expert 9

    Privacy expert 9 wont install until privacy expert 8 is uninstalled. But when I try to uninstall privacy expert suite 8 I get the message "acronis privacy expert was not unistalled". Can anyone help with this catch 22?

    Please accept my apologies for the delay with the response.

    Could you please do the following?

    - Launch the Acronis Privacy Expert Suite 9.0 installation file;

    - Right-click on the "Install Acronis Privacy Expert Suite" button and select "Extract";

    - Select the path for extracting the component and click "Save";

    - Go to the Run prompt (Start -> Run) and issue the following command:

    msiexec /i msi-name /l*v log-name

    Where msi-name is the name of the file you extracted in steps 2-3 and log-name is the path and the name to the log file you want to save the output to;

    - Reproduce the problem and collect the log file created during the installation.

    Please create Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

    Please submit a request for technical support. Attach the collected file and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    stick with 8.0... Much better and faster than 9.0.

    Also problems uninstalling

    Hello, I would like to uninstall Privacy Expert Suite and get the same message "Acronis privacy expert was not uninstalled". I have sent you my system information file about five times, and an investigation was promised, but I have yet to hear from you after half a year.

    I cannot register and update this software, since I purchased this PC with the program already on it.

    I would appreciate if you looked into this and provided a response.
