Not bad, not bad. Here in Québec it was around -5 and 0... So it's almost hot! :D :D :D

be sure to put on the sun screen. With a heat wave like that we wouldn;t want you to burn. :D :D *puppy*

Uguel, I've got every electric fan I own pointed to the NE, blowing on high. Trying to get you some of this warm air. I figured that if bigc and Detox were kind enough to send it north, I'd at least try to keep it going. :D

    BJ,

Well thank you! That's funny for I thought about stg similar recently. I thought of starting a campaign to raise funds for a jumbo fresnel lens that will enhance the sunbeams effects just over Québec!!!

That's a good idea but be really careful. You know what happens when you focus the sun's rays through a magnifying glass. Don't focus the beam too tight. I think +500F would be just a little too much.

Actually, we have 6 foot snowdrifts just in front of every house and the snow is getting dirty...Not your ideal landscape... So I might be safe to use strong magnification on them.....
    Don't you think so o_O

    Will the winter be cold?
In October, the Indians asked their Chief if the coming winter was going to be cold or not. Not really knowing the answer, the chief replied that the winter will be cold and that the members of the village should collect wood to be prepared.

Being a good leader, he then went to a phone booth, called the National Weather Service and asked, "Is this winter to be cold?"

The man on the phone responded, "This winter is indeed going to be very cold."

So the Chief went back to encourage his people to collect even more wood to be prepared. A week later he called the National Weather Service again, and asked again, "Is it going to be a very cold winter?"

"Yes," the man replied, "it's going to be a very cold winter."

The Chief went back to his people and ordered them to go out and bring back every scrap of wood they could find.

Two weeks later he called the National Weather Service again. "Are you absolutely sure that this winter is going to be very cold?"

"Absolutely" the man replies, "the Indians are collecting wood like crazy!"

Borrow a protective suit from a local fireman, stand back, and you'll be OK. Oh a boat might come in handy too when all of that snow suddenly melts. :D

Pfofit you actually win. I deleted the canadian jokes because on closer inspection I realized that some of them did not show our canadian neighbors in a good light . I would not intentionaly do that so I took the loss, so you win this time but watch out in the future :D :D :D ;)

That makes me wonder. Would I want to be at the top of the hill rolling down, or at the bottom of the hill waiting to be rolled over? :doubt:

Yes, I agree "we had enough"! :(
Moreover. this week I heard kids complaining about it!

(normally, they do like like snow) I understand why. Most of the days were spent indoors for it was bitter cold. And all the time lost to shovel : everybody must get up sometimes 1 hour earlier ....
