I would like to make a bootable backup drive,so I can back up all my systems.I have a mix of 32 and 64 bit systems.I would rather not have to dual boot the backup drive.
Yes, you can prepare 64-bit Linux-based recovery media and boot with it on 32-bit system. Also you can use WinPE that detects 32\64 bit system itself.
The winpe 64 doesn't boot on a 32 bit processor(I tried it)winload complains.I'll try the Linux version. I kind of suspected as much,as there are both versions available for download,If the 64bit version worked on 32bit systems,there would be no need for the 32bit download.
