    Hello patto2k,

Could you please provide us with the output from the following commands from terminal:
    1)mount
    2) sudo gpt -r show /dev/rdisk0
    3) sudo fdisk /dev/rdisk0

It's Ok that recovery HD is between Mac OS X and Windows system partitions. It is also OK that you had additional partition before rebooting your system...

    Thank you very much!

OK, just wanted to provide an update.

CampTune worked brilliantly. Both partitions are resized and I can boot either side.

My only testing feedback is this: I recommend that a message is displayed warning that the computer could/will be completely unresponsive for awhile. It appeared as a lockup for many minutes, so I prematurely power cycled the computer (just during the assessment phase). The third time I ran it, I let it go for hours without touching it, and then all was fine.

    Thanks for the fine software!

I just installed the Paragon Camptune X but unfortunately I get this error message:

"You've got no Boot Camp configuration in your system. please connect another disk, then click refresh."

Any help would be appreciated since it looks like the kind of software I'm looking for.

    Specs:

    MacPro 1.1
    Snow Leopard 10.6.8
3 harddrives, 2 external drives & one NAS Synology (all connected)

    Best regards,

    Thomas

    1) yes, noting i ran chkdsk /f on the windows side as administrator first, along with verify in disk utility on mac osx, no problems both os's booted just fine and size is correct.
    2) yes
    3) would suggest a confirmation dialog just before doing the resizing
    4) see above... also i did this on a 2011 27-inch imac, with a 2TB drive. Originally had 500 gig for the bootcamp partition, and resized it to 1TB, so the drive was split with 1TB for mac osx and 1TB for windows 7 via bootcamp. As I adjusted the slider, it maxed out at 1TB for the windows 7 partition, while it would take the mac osx less than 1TB. Either that was a display bug or that extra space would go unallocated, it was unclear. So - does camptune X max out the bootcamp partition size at 1TB?

Also - when the program is starting the resize, it says checking mac drive and then checking windows drive... is that "checking" the chkdsk /f? or something else.

    Hello pbb_redux,

    2TB drives are not really 2TB...It likes 2 000 000 000 000 bytes, which is 1.8 TB.
There are no program limits of partition sizes. Maximum size is the maximum size available on the disk.
Before resize CamptuneX checks file system without fixing errors (like chkdsk in Windows and fsck_hfs or "verify" in Mac OS X). If errors are found CamptuneX won't start the redistribution to avoid data loss.

    Mephist-
Understood, but they are asking for feedback on this thread and the program has at the very least a display error in it with regards to the numerically displayed size allocated to the bootcamp partition when it gets above 1TB. The graphic would be correct and not limited, but the numerically displayed size format/max/whatever needs to be fixed. Have a good one.

    1. A - Except that there was no notification after the process was completed, just a blank window. Apart from that it seems to have worked just fine.
    2. A - Maybe there should be some advice on which apps can be left running, if any.

    6. B

    Additional information:
At first, my external storage HD was still plugged in. CampTune automatically chose that instead of the internal HD. It detected a windows partition that does not exist there (though admittedly there are two partitions on it, but both for MacOS). When I tried to switch between the HDs on the dropdown menu, CampTune always changed back to the external HD after scanning. Thus I unplugged it and everything went well.
Furthermore, there was a short freeze during the "checking the MacOS partition" phase, but only for a minute or such.

    Hi,

    My config :
    MBP 15" 2011
SSD Crucial M4 (primary) + Apple HDD 750Go (secondary)

    SSD -> Os X Lion
HDD -> TimeMachine / Data Partition / Bootcamp partition (created using bootcamp assistant)

Camptune was not able to detect the BOOTCAMP partition .

If any idea on how to solve this problem, please let me know .

-Maybe already in the works, perhaps a countdown timer or at the very least
    a animated progress bar.

-I have a password enabled, and every now and then during the process I needed to "Click the lock to enable changes". Don't know if it would continue without me clicking and entering credentials but I did it anyways. Maybe a
special process that unlocks the process for the duration until it finishes?

    6. Do you think that Camptune solution functionality needs to be extended?
    a. Yes.

-The ability to clone to a new, blank hard drive would be nice; especially
if one did not have to rebuild a Bootcamp partition after cloning with other
    software.

    My Configuration:

    2.66GHz/320GB HDD/ 8GB RAM MacBook Pro 13" (Mid 2010)
MacOS X Snow Leopard in full boot 64-bit Kernel and Extensions
    Windows 7 Professional x64 with SP1, NTFS
MacOS and Windows up to date as of 12/9/2011

    Was your redistribute operation successful?
    b. No, The program operation completed successfully, and OSX boots fine still, but when I try to boot into windows, it just goes into a command prompt type screen with a bunch of text that if I key through ends with a line saying 'grub'. o_O

I tried to 'repair' my windows 7 (x64) installation through the dvd but it won't let me do this because of a 'compatibility error' with versions. :'(

If anyone could please advise on how I can fix this, I would be appreciative!

    2. Was the process intuitive?
    a. Yes

    3. Were all dialogs and menus in program clear to you?
    a. Yes, though progress bars with the checking windows and osx partition stages would be good.

    4. Do you think that Camptune for Mac OS X needs additional features?
    b. No, well it would be good if it worked for me like it's worked for others.

    6. Do you think that Camptune solution functionality needs to be extended?
    b. No. I like simple, not-bloated one purpose programs.

    Hello,

I just use Camptune on my Macbook pro 2,3 ghz and it work fine ! So, I put "Yes" on all questions.

    Just two little thing :

    - when I open the "applications" folder by the dock, the Camptune icon appear like an unusable powerpc application. If I open normally the "applications" folder by clicking on the Macintosh HD folder, it appear correctly.

    - It seem when my Macbook close the screen during process for saving energy, the security lock and the process wait. I must unlock the security for continuying proceed.

Translated version for non-english readers will be a must.

Thank you very much for this application,

    and merry christmas !!!

    A.Michel.

5-A all options mentioned in your text.

It works fantastic, very easy, so if you put in extra functionality then do so in an advanced mode.
    1 remark tho,
Halfway the procedure it asked me my admin password again ?!
And my mac hanged for the entire procedure (got me very nervous), the only thing i could use was my mouse, nothing else worked, i tryed to click several app's but nothing reacted, when camptune finished all app's i clicked started reacting again...

    3. Were all dialogs and menus in program clear to you?
    b. No. When checking the partitions (Mac and Windows) it should have some sort of progress bar or estimated time to give you an idea of how long it will take. The item that looks like a progress bar animates to tell you it is in progress but it does not give you an idea if it is a short or long process. The same applies to the actual redistribute process. I wish that there was an estimated time to complete so you know how long it has left. It does have a progress bar which is nice but it moves so slowly it is hard to tell if it is actually moving. A percent done along with a estimated time to complete would make the dialogue more clear to me.

    4. Do you think that Camptune for Mac OS X needs additional features?
    a. Yes. I wish there was a backup and restore feature built in so that if something went wrong with the redistribute (power failure, software error, etc) that I could restore my Mac and Windows partitions.

    6. Do you think that Camptune solution functionality needs to be extended?
    a. Yes. I guess I answered it above. I wish Camptune X could backup and restore the various partitions. Outside of that I am extremely happy with Camptune X beta. It worked flawlessly for me and did the job that it was intended to do. I like that I did not have to make a boot disk and I was able to accomplish everything from within the OSX Lion side.

    Hello
I installed the camptune X beta but when it tries to find my bootcamp partition, it just says "Scanning" but never finds it. Any suggestions?

4-A - Slider between mac and windows partitions moves now in steps of 1 Gb. This is perfect and intuitive. However, sometimes you want a more precise partition size, so it would be nice to have, besides the slider, also the possibility to enter a numeric value for any of the two partition sizes. Also, an advanced user mode, with the possibility to see and edit all the partitions on the disk (not only Boot Camp) would be interesting.
5-A - An option to backup (or migrate) the Boot Camp partition.

    Thanks!
It does perfect what it should do, easy, intuitive and fast! This is some nice coding.
