    Thank you @Minimalist !

I'm a bit confused about the date(s) and the version number.
    The quoted article says:
Well, I have on the regular release channel:
    HIPS support module; 1463.1; 4-7-2023
That is version number 1463.1 (so it is not 1463 )
and with date 4-7-2023 (which is not July 5 ; but that could have been caused by time-zones)

OK, maybe a bit too much about details ...
Which version (with date) do others have on regular release channel? Thanks!

    Thanks! Same as me.

I think that article needs to be corrected cq. updated.

BTW I don't understand why the article is published on 11 August 2023 while the "issue" seems to have been fixed on 4 July 2023.
That is a little bit late IMHO ...

Probably better they don't post it before most people are fixed. It would make them a target.

    Yes and no Jack.
    Yes, of course.
But most definitly no! I'm sorry.
You have to read the article again and again.
This part (I quote it again)
So, a full release was released on 5 July 2023.
No more, no less. That is what the article is saying.
I cannot help it that ESET made a full mess about the whole situation. The versions numbers, all the dates. They are responsible for this mess, not me.
