    Hi Gang!
Just a quick review on this new version as I am a beta tester for CA.
    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Installation - Went flawless and installed very quick and easy.
Resources - After reboot my resources were at 90% which is excellent, especially for older computers, great job done there.
Memory - In memory I showed aboutr 20 MB
GUI - User Friendly to say the least easy to understand and use. help files are clear and concise.
Scane Engine is very precise and leaves no stones unturned. I scanned my C drive which took approx 40 minutes and ez scanned a total of 53,764 files.
Update Icon - This is a nice addition to your software great job done their.
System Report - Another find feature.
    Conclusion -
My first impression Computer Associates have done a very find job on improving their antivirus software. I am looking forward to their final release of this version.
    I ran this on a Compaq.......OS98SE.......184RAM......476mghz.
Will keep the members informed on their progress and changes.
Will be doing further testing on their dectection capability.
    Cheers

Thanks for your nice report, but I find the configuration options very bad......it's nearly impossible to see what is and what's not being scanned. There is no way to alter any configurations. I find that too bad for such a nice program.

    Good luck ;) Putin

Have found your scanner. It's the version with the Promo licence.

Completely different.......and I'll try this one out for a while.

As I posted on another thread, EZ AV 7 on-demand scanner scans everything unless you set the exclusion list to tell it otherwise. It's pure simplicity. Settings are minimal and obvious - on purpose. But if anyone thinks they need more settings, now's a good time to speak up and make thoughful and well-considered suggestions.
