C: cant give more free Space

    Hi,

    i have the following partition on a 150GB HD :

    C: - 60,88 GB NTFS
    D: - 73,97 GB NTFS
    Linux SWAP - 627,5 MByte
    Ext3 - 13,58 GB

    So i want to give more free Space from D: to C:

    After Acronis DDS (10 Build 2.117) is checking Partition it is saying that it cant give more Space to C: !

    Nothing else - no other Errormessages.

    Anyone a idea why? :ninja:

    did you try to edit the partitions?
    I would move the beginning of "D:" to the right, so freeing space.
    Then I would move the end of "C:" to the right, so adding empty space.

    Sure that at this the risk of losing Date isnt greater?

    afaik there is no other way.
    sure that the risk of losing data is greater as usual when using tools like that,
    but there is still a risk of losing data when the pc is just turned on ;)

    If you can backup your data, do it first.
