will personaly i wouldnt recomend nod to a brand spanking new newby

nod is more of an expert tool for those in the inform on what to look for

id only recomend it to an expert newb that has been playing around in pauls free tool section with a little bit of this and that

it takes a good newb of 3 to 4 months of playing around with the free toys to get the jest and talk of whats what and what terms mean what

for pros nods great but for brand spanking new newbs id wait awhile and get past the lerning cuve befor geting into nod espechially in its new development stages

i feel sorry for tired it sucks to start all over when your comfey

for other av vendors this is a good opertunity

start picking up new clients from the old defeated av that has join the evil microsoft empire lol

why go spyware when you can go nod

why settle for microsoft security hole driven av when you can go gav lol

see people even newbs dont want more call home microsoft programs waist of ram and resourcess lol

    plus more spyware yuck

id take full advantage of this av with and start ringing in there disatified customers lol

I have to disagree here, Mr. Blaze.

NOD32 is actually very easy to install and to set up - no high learning curve, merely a matter of following the - quite understandable - help files if needed. ;)

    regards.

    hi

i don't think nod to be difficult to use, and it doesn''t need much of a tinkering coz the default settings are actually pretty safe

On/off? One does NOT simply turn Windoze OFF! Horrors no!

To "Stop" Windoze you must first press "Start." {logical, isn't it?} :p

    Then & only then you may "Shut Down" {NOT turn off -- how crass! -- but Shut Down}

Except in February, which has 28

Ah...well...THERE you touch on an awkward point! Mr. Blaze DOESN'T know how to turn off/on his computer. He has hired help for that sort of thing. (Just kidding, Blaze; could't resist!)

If the opinion of a casual NOD user is of some interest
to you,I must say that NOD is very easy for a newbie to use except the configuration for email scanning....

In the new NOD32 version 2 (released), The email is much simpler to configure : there is nothing to configure in most case, even if you use a spam filter workink has a proxy.

Beta versions are for beta testers to discover bugs, problems and report them to the vendor so the vendor can fix them and prepare the product for final release. Unlike most commercial product beta testing this one was open to anyone and pretty much conducted in public via the forum here. Since the point of beta testing is to find and report problems, it's not surprising that one would see reports of problems in the NOD beta forum. And newbies should not be beta testers.

:DSorry but the sales pitch kinda sucked

in most cases rather then telling me what i wanted to know or needed to know i mainly got links to website go look here go look there type thing

usealy something like that perty much says same thing about a program.

also avoiding the qustion does it play well with others and finaly geting answer nod is all you need says more to.

im not trying to start nothing i really am not im just speaking of my personal experince and that is all.

when im looking into a product i like the personal touch it usealy shows they care .

for example if i have a qustion about boclean or tds those guys are all over it and they take the time to say what and how

they dont go sending me off to web pages full of high end talk.

for now im not intrestead in nod ill wait till my subscription runs out by then maybe things will change.

algain this is out of my personal experince and nothing more so dont go hiting me with an onslaught of attacks lol or i shall revail with my mighty wooden spoon.
