I've posited this very situation with the developer... let's see what he has to say about this.

@Mr.X - The Devs has identified 2-methods to do this... 1)all MANUAL operations or 2)on a per task MANUAL operation. The Dev thinks #1 is dangerous. They're looking into a possible implementation as I type. I'll let you know what happens...

Or we could just press "Go" + Ctrl instead of a right-click option:

I like more this solution, it's more comfortable for me. The 'Ctrl" key overrides safeguards.

If it does, great! <ctrl>Go has a lot of other things going on for it, I didn't know it eliminated SAFEGUARDS. (not sure it does). Is that a suggestion...??

    No it doesn't!
    You misunderstood my comment.
I'm proposing a solution to be implemented. I should've said "I would like this solution more if they implemented it".
    Sorry about the confusion.

I would guess that adding the removal of SafeGuards from the <ctrl>Go command would be a bit risky. <ctrl>Go is meant to reinitialize the backup task status (re-scan destination index files, clear appropriate caches, etc.)... that's not a safety issue. Mixing the disabling of a safety issue with task re-initialization sounds risky to me. My guess is they may come up with a separate function all together dealing with Safety-only operations.

The app developer thought your idea was a good one, and he decided to not only add your setting but some other settings as well to the newly developed UI option. Looks like a win-win for both of you! :thumb:

First time I see Bvckup 2 detect a different device fingerprint (I set the program to track devices by fingerprint).
I know this is not related to the program itself but to Windows/drivers/adapter. I just wanted to know why this happens.

The drive is an internal SATA SSD attached to a USB adapter for external use.

    Previous fingerprint ID: 4E03E8D0.NTFS.100000.1BF2500000.235678C218CA
    New fingerprint ID: 4E03E8D0.NTFS.100000.1BF2800000.235678C218CA

    Suggestion:

When I right click on the tray icon, and select, "Disable All Backups", I can't use the same method to enable them again. I have to go into the interface and individually enable them all again.
It would be great if I could enable them as easy as I disabled them by using the tray icon.
