I've searched everything I can and find no record of any post here about "burnnote". Are you sure that's the actual site/name/word? Could it be something spelled a little differently? Was it a standalone thread or a reply?

Some irony here, in that no one can find a post about something that disappears.

Hi & thanks for the speedy reply :thumb:

I searched for Burn/Burnnote/burnnote.com with no joy, before posting.

I can't be sure it was a dedicated thread, so it could have been a post in another thread, which i'm "presuming" was in one of the Privacy ones, but might not have been ?

The link, i'm sure, was posted as https://burnnote.com but may have been posted like this for eg -https://burnnote.com Would that any difference to searching for it ?

    TIA

I supposed it's possible someone entered a burnnote link somewhere and then edited it out or deleted their post? I find no record of it anywhere here now. It seems like a harmless enough service... a note that will only be saved for a short duration after someone starts viewing it. No reason for us to want to remove any discussion of it that I can see.

Thanks, yeah i had the link :)

    :D

I was wondering that too, I guess that's what must have happened ! Quite why though ?

    Wierd !

Exactly, & maybe whoever posted it might now feel able to repost again, now they know it's ok to do so, if they felt it wasn't before.

Hey, you never would have found it, if you hadn't posted. It also explains why search the forums for burnnote turned up nothing.
