    re-Anti spam for other clients

    quote from bullguard

    Support for other e-mail clients
The spamfilter currently has integration with Outlook and Outlook Express. Support for other e-mail clients will be added through automatic updates during 2006.
However, you can still enjoy the spamfilter, even if you use a currently unsupported e-mail client: Spam-mail will be marked with "[BGSPAM]" in the subject of the e-mail, and if you have access to setting up a filter in your e-mail client, you can use this to automatically move spam-mail to a selected folder.

    ZOMG!

I just used BullGuard's built-in online (live 24h) help system.
I asked if there are any special offers for students? After few mins
they extended my trial to 250 days!

    Extraordinary service indeed. :D

The competition is excellent in these suites. Thanks for more feeback on Bullguard. I really love the interface to bullguard and will have to look at this again. Their support seems outstanding to me which makes a huge difference. And, online backup of files is tremendously tempting to me with the 20% discount and coming antispam support for other email clients. Thanks.

Regarding first time buyer discount, cannot get this confirmed through support but I am really liking this product and thinking of buying it. What source did you have on your discount information and thanks.

Gary, they had the discount, and I think then they did not have it for some time, and now they have it again, so just ask again I am sure that they'll tell you so

Am almost thinking of buying Bullguard 7 but I do think it is a good point mentioned about no HIPS program. Does this concern anyone else or is this program still serviiceable even without this program? The only other suite I can think of that I might buy with this functionality would be KIS 6 but the prices are sky high for being able to run it on just one computer too. Thanks.

adi200, thanks for the review and to all in this thread who gave good feedback. Will stay with Bullbuard 7 for a while now. Agree with the review you gave and the service and support is outstanding. Was able to receive a 20% discount on one year subscription and they extended my subscription for the almost two months remaining in the trial so about 14 months altogether.

    Some things I like

Good interface and fairly good components.
Good support with nice support plugin.
1000 MB backup space on their servers for files, accessable from any Web browser without having to have the program installed.
Can install on up to 3 computers in one household.

    Thanks again to all.

how did you get the 20% reduction? what did you say? when i emailed and asked all i got was a message referring me back to the prices online. I like bullguard 7, but i would like it more if it was cheaper!

    thanks for any reply

why do people keep complaining about the price?
its only £34.99 uk pounds for 1000mb of storage and all the componants
    KIS is £50 uk pounds.

Go to the support plugin and start a new chat and tell them you are trialing their product and you have not received any email informing you you can purchase the product for 20% discount. Also, mention that you frequent various security forums and have trialed several suites but are willing to purchase their prduct if you can get the discount today. I was sent a link via chat that gave me the discounted option witht the 1000 MB of backup space. You may have to have several chats but if you are within the first 3 days of trial, it should work. Good luck and any more questions elt me know.

Nothing wrong with price but nothing wrong with accepting a discount either for such a good product.

wasn't complaining about the price, but if others are getting a discount, why shouldn't i want one!

i had f-secure, but lost the registration code, I tried f-secure 2007 and it was SO slow, it took ages to do anything. And their claim on there website hat they reply with 2 hours was a joke. It took 11 days when i emailed

I would rather stay with bullguard than go back to f-secure. The support is so much better

I agree why not get a discount. im gonna get eiether Kav+comodo
antivir suite or maybe bullguard 7

kaspersky and bullguard both have great suppport.
I have had to email f-secure so many times during the time i have had it mainly due to update errors.

    outpost+bitdefender is great combo IMO.
is bullguard fast at updating and keeps you protected like it says?
