OK then I misunderstood, I somehow thought you mentioned it was also an annoyance to you. To me BrokenURL is a brilliant tool, I often install tools via Sandboxie and I hate it when they launch the browser. Not even EXE Radar could block this, but BrokenURL fixes it. But strange that it doesn't work on Win 10. Testing shouldn't take long though, you can simply try to register it as the default browser, and see if you get an error. After that you can remove it, it's a matter of a few minutes, perhaps someone else can try.

Can you perhaps check it out?

No it doesn't work, M$ has messed up big time, you can only choose a couple of pre defined apps and for other apps you are directed to the horrible Windows Store. There is no way to simply browse to a local folder. This means I can't assign BrokenURL to certain protocols. The person who messed this up should be fired and I can't believe this bug still hasn't been fixed. :gack:

If you click Set defaults by app, can you not find BrokenURL?

Thanks, I'm not sure what workaround you refer to, but I did discover there is another tool named BrowserSelect and this does seem to work on Win 10! It manages to correctly add itself to the list of default browsers. But I'm not sure if I can make it work in the Sandboxie sandboxes. But why didn't I know about this app before, I feel so dumb.

If you run Win 10, you can see it yourself, M$ messed things up.

I wonder if it will now finally run correctly on Win 10. Because I'm having problems with BrowserSelect, all of a sudden, VirusTotal Uploader can't launch the browser anymore.
