Banking malware built to misdirect a Brazilian form of bank payment method targeted $3.75 billion of transactions over the past two years – and the scale of the attack may have eclipsed any single previous instance of electronic theft, according to the New York Times.
Hmmm, this is proof that man-in-the-browser attacks are no joke. Billions, what the hell?
Also, I´ve noticed that in the first article, it´s said that the malware is able to disable security software that monitors the browser. I´m guessing it´s Trusteer Rapport, I wonder what they got to say about this.
