Brave on Android is becoming as annoying as Norton on Windows. I keep being asked to make Brave the default browser, even though I have repeatedly put a check in the box each time I'm asked. Sooner or later I get the same pop-up.

Next time I see it Brave will be gone from my phone.

I also don't like that when I tap the Search button there are several search suggestions offered, before I type anything. None of which are related to any searches I have ever made.

Thanks alot, anon! Brave is not used all the time so it's not open more than a few minutes per day and then it's almost always sandboxed. However, when I went to Settings/About Brave, I discovered we're a little ahead of things maybe.

Both the browser and the chromium version are one step ahead. Guess I'll wait for the release notes on this unless it's already out there. Oh and this is the release version of Brave--nothing beta. If not wanting to squint at the snip (official: 1.61.100; mine: ...101 | official chromium: 120.0.6099.62; mine: ...71.)

any idea how to block this in brave shields so that youtube works? it's literally the only thing that's messed partner.ads.js

 

What is it you want to block? I'm not sure ...

On a particular site? Are you trying to block this because of some adblocker test?
