    Well, that's up to you.
But I think "KB3139929 should be hidden" is expressed way too strong!
KB3139929 is still a security update, even though the KB3139929 documentation says that it includes nonsecurity-related KB3146449, which "adds functionality to Internet Explorer 11 on some computers that lets users learn about Windows 10 or start an upgrade to Windows 10."

Nothing wrong with waiting to install KB3139929 for a little while.
But hiding KB3139929, and not installing it, doesn't seem the best idea to me.
But as I said, it's up to you.

They already have enough "ideas" to last them a century, believe me!

I wonder what the phrase "on some computers" means? I installed KB3139929 yesterday, and so far nothing has happened or popped up or anything else. Maybe I'm not one of the "some computers"? I don't know... I'll report back if I do see anything weird going on, but I rather doubt it.

Yeah, Vista sucked. I bought a Vista PC, but never knew how slow it was till Win 7 came out and I installed that. What a difference!

Haha.. I don't know. I did upgrade my 7 to 10 and I have 10 images. So maybe MS keeps that info stored somewhere and won't bother messing with my 7 setup. I have no idea...

Yeah, you've seen Person of Interest on TV right? That's where MS are getting their ideas from if you ask me.

Man, if you want to get that feeling big time, just install Win 10. All manner of wild things are going on there... and probably most of it unknown to us...

Regardless of what Mickeyshaft want, I'm sticking with 7 until the very end.

It happens on 7 too, so not much of an improvement in this area.

Yes, I know. Last time I did a clean install of 7 (month or so ago), I found that if I installed 2 updates (manually) prior to the 1st update check, it only took 13 minutes first time around. However, later on the 2nd round of updates, it did take 2 hours. And just yesterday when I checked, it took about 2 hours again even though everything was current. That's pretty ridiculous, but obviously there is some problem that MS just hasn't fixed.

Anyway, yes, you're right, 7 does it too. Win 8.1 seems fine, and of course Win 10 is fine also.
