No issues here also. I had auto cleanup during install and also additional 360 MB cleaned manually.

Whoa, ESET a "lesser-known app"? Maybe in the author's world but not in these parts, It's sort of a hero, recently playing a key role in stopping a Russian cyber-attack on Ukrainian power infrastructure. The author of that article should retract that statement.

Installed my drive w/Windows 11-- it seems these Insider builds for Windows 11 are like installing an entirely new OS now, right? I get a Windows.old and it's taking about the same amount of time to install as a new operating system. Plus, again I have a watermark (Evaluation copy) so I'm gonna get rid of it via Winaero.

Installed MS Edge--which I keep nuking with HiBit. But before I did, I opened it like four times in a row and it didn't crash on me. Neither did Firefox. Hope that lasts, who needs it?

Which they? ESET or the article author? ESET used to live here. It was why I joined to start with.

Lesser known lol. The author must not be well versed in tech.

    Thanks, Gandalf_The_Grey.

Has written Microsoft-focused articles for BleepingComputer, among other things. You would think he would know better. OK, well gotta move on, I guess, but that kind of lingers as a bad taste. Hopefully, he will catch wind of it and modify his statement about ESET.

Even if its market share isn't as high as that of other products, the connotation of "lesser known" is not the greatest.

No problem on my (our) end. We (in our company) are having deployed ESET Endpoint Security with the LiveGrid enabled.
